EI is a wellness model . We all have challenges in our lives, we learn more and less functional ways of dealing with these challenges, and that is all part of being a “normal” person.

The other unique element of EI is that it is an integrated model . Instead of looking at one aspect of a person or relationship, it attempts to see a larger whole.
